PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY

1 Introduction
1.1 Jolin Fan Club (Singapore) is formed by a group of voluntary Jolin fans in 2000. We are the only recognized Jolin Fan Club in Singapore. We are working closely with all Jolin’s overseas fan clubs and Jolin’s current record company, Warner Music Singapore.

2 Participation
2.1 Membership applications are open to all residents of Singapore of all ages.
2.2 You will NOT BE ALLOWED to take back the membership fees if you wish to quit Jolin Fan Club.
(* This applies to those who have already made payment of the membership fee and would like to quit half way within the year)

For new members
3 To be a member of Jolin Fan Club (Singapore), you are required to fill up the online application form and pay the required membership fees at SGD$35 for 1st TWO years ONLY and SGD$16 for every alternate year.
3.1 There is a total of SGD$35 (T-shirt & membership card for TWO years) payment fee for the 1st TWO years.

For current members
4.1 All current members who have paid for the first time subscription fee will have to pay SGD$16 for every 2 years’ renewal. This is to lighten the club’s expenses on administrative purposes.
4.2 All paid membership fees are not refundable.

5.0 FAQ
Q1: Why membership fees are so expensive, SGD$35 for 1st TWO year and SGD$16 for every alternate year?
A1: Most importantly, we need funds to manage and run the club. Things like website, tshirts and banner requires money. The T-shirt is SGD$19, our fees per mth is SGD$0.70cents. For convenience we will collect a min of 2yrs at 1 go. so it is about SGD$16.80, for easy calculations we will absorb the SGD$0.80cents and collect only SGD$16 thus the total of SGD$35.

Q2: Why are we collecting membership funds every alternate year?
A2: We need funds to get things work, e.g. for website, banners, boards, etc

Q3: If I didn't pay for that year, does it mean that I am no longer a member?
A3: Yes. This means that if Jolin come within that year, you will not get any SMS or benefits to Jolin events.

Q4: If I have paid the membership fees, does it mean that I will definitely be issued the tickets if Jolin has any events which require tickets?
A4: It all depends. We will use the lucky draw method to deal with the tickets if it is insufficient, as this method will be fair to everyone in the club.

Q5: How do I get Jolin events' information in Singapore
Q5: You will get a SMS from the Fan Club’s Chairman regarding Jolin’s information once it is confirmed. (We will only send SMSes to members once the information is confirmed.)

Q6: How do I know what time to gather? Where to get gather if there are Jolin events?
A6: You will get a SMS from the Fan Club’s Chairman regarding the time to gather and the locations.

Q7: Do I need to wear the Fan Club tee when we attend Jolin’s Event.
A7: Yes it is a must, if you don’t want to wear it; you must at least bring it along.

Q8: Do I need to go early to queue for Jolin’s Event?
A8: Yes, being a group of Jolin Fan Club (Singapore) members, we must share the burden UNLESS there is a priority queue for Jolin Fan Club (Singapore) members.
(PS: We are voluntary Jolin fans, not a worker of Jolin Fan Club (Singapore))

Q9: Will we have any Fan Club Gathering with Jolin?
A9: We will request from the record company itself. Most likely the answer will be no.

6.0 Payment Method
 There are 2 ways to pay the membership fees:

6.1 Through Bank:
You can transfer the money to our POSB Account at this number: 186-14254-3 and please remember to send us a duplicate copy of the receipt and keep the original receipt for yourself. If you are using Internet banking, please set the account username as your name.

6.2 By Hand:
You can follow up with any of our committee members to meet you personally to collect the membership fees and application form. Please contact us by email at JolinSFC@hotmail.com

7.0 Membership
7.1 We will pass it to you once we meet you for collection of fee. Subject to changes.
7.2 Please bring along the membership card if Jolin has any events in Singapore.
7.3 There may be a gathering once a month or year. Our committee will call you up to confirm the time & place for the gathering. Subject to changes.
 

8.0 RULES TO BE OBEYED - IT IS A MUST FOR ALL JOLIN'S CLUB MEMBER

8.1 Being a Jolin Fan Club (Singapore), we must share the burden as a group not as a fool.
8.2 Please obey instructions from our committee members. For all issues, committee members will all discuss through thoroughly, and only make a decision when we come to a consensus. However, we have to right not to answer to any members for all decisions made. We will make decisions that will provide most benefits to all members.
8.3 Please maintain harmony within the fan club at all times. Please report to committee members in times of any displeasure towards any members. The committee members will seek for the best solution.
8.4 Please place Jolin’s safety and interest at your top priority at all times.
8.5 Please do not be rude towards any Jolin’s co-workers, organizers, media person or any other fans. Please bear in mind that as long as you are with the Jolin Fan Club (Singapore) or wearing our fan club tee-shirt, you are representing us. Please act politely and rationally at all times.
8.6 Please do not leak any confidential information to anyone when told not to do so.
8.7 Please do not join any other Jolin fan clubs after joining Jolin Fan Club (Singapore).
8.8 Please do not pester Jolin for autographs or take pictures with you if Jolin or any of her co-workers have already rejected your request. Please also mind your language and tone while requesting for some favor from her. Please respect her decision at all times.
8.9 Please turn off your flash lights while photographing right in front of her. Please do not obstruct her way while taking photographs.
8.10 Please do not request her to sign on any products that are unrelated to her or pirated products or not released by her current record company.
8.11 Please do not use any privilege that Jolin Fan Club (Singapore) has provided you with for any commercial profits.

All rules and regulations above are to be obeyed. All primary offenders will receive warnings from the committee board. We will not hesitate to discontinue any member’s membership status after a few offences. Please bear in mind that whenever you are with Jolin Fan Club (Singapore) at any of Jolin’s events or wearing our fan club tee-shirt, you are a representative of our fan club. Please do not tarnish our reputation with your careless, childish or unrefined act. We greatly appreciate your cooperation.
 

I agree with the above terms and conditions, and to obey the rule of Jolin Fan Club (Singapore) with responsibility for my act towards Jolin Events. And I know I will be given at least 2 warnings for irresponsible behavior, after which if there is a 3rd offence, membership from Jolin Fan Club (Singapore) will be removed.
